I have always had a fondness for tribal jewellery with it's often bold and colourful style and it's own unique elegance. From a young age ethnic jewellery was always accessible either due to gifts from family or from traveling to Pakistan and buying it for myself. From wearing such pieces I have almost by accident moved onto Jewellery design and naturally use tribal jewellery from Pakistan as an inspiration.

Because I love turquoise and silver, I incorporate both into my silver earring designs, and you will notice this theme if you visit my shop. Here you will find many of my unique designs of turquoise earrings and turquoise necklaces. You will also notice the use of bell beads and coins, another feature of jewellery from that region. I also like to use other gemstones and am slowly putting together my collection on Etsy.

I also stock vintage kuchi jewellery, originating from Pashtun tribes who originate from Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan. Kuchi jewellery is made from an alloy of German silver with gillet, and is distinctively used in Pashtun tribal jewellery, "gillet" is a combination of silver, brass, copper and iron. This jewellery is often adorned with vintage coins from Pakistan from the seventies and eighties identifiable in most kuchi jewellery available today.
